The London Freight Club
Established in 1953, The London Freight Club is a community of freight professionals and a networking hub for London's freight and shipping industry. It's always relied heavily on face-to-face contact, and over the years it's become a place where competitors and colleagues can sit down together, swap ideas, and build relationships across the industry.
This summer's luncheon, held at the Grand Connaught Rooms, was hosted by newly appointed Chairwoman Julie Curran, whose words set the tone for the afternoon before she introduced speaker Craig Harrison. Craig gave a brilliant talk on his time in the British Army.
Continue The Conversation - Introducing the new Blaiklock
Wednesday evening brought together attendees from the Freight Club alongside industry professionals from Virgin Atlantic, Delta, HMM, and more. The rebrand reflects how the business has evolved as the freight and modern logistics landscape has changed around it.
The evening carried on long after the speeches ended. For us, it marked a big moment, the first time we debuted who we are today. With membersof the freight community there to mark the occasion, it became a chance to swapinsights, look back on how far the business has come, and talk about where it's headed next.
Our new colour palette was on display throughout the night, from branded signage to merchandise, giving guests a closer look at the new design. The look is new - what we deliver on hasn't changed in 22 years.
Control in complexity and in delivery: we take ownership, make decisionsclearly, and stay proactive when conditions change.
Consistency in how we deliver: clients rely on us to perform underpressure, with clear communication, operational discipline, and dependableexecution at every stage.
Confidence in execution: through intelligent visibility, accountability, and experience, we build confidence across every part of thesupply chain.
Our industry runs on relationships built over years of working alongside one another, and evenings like this are a good reminder of that.Everyone who joined us has had a hand in shaping where Blaiklock is today, andthose same relationships are what'll carry us forward.
"The London Freight Club may have been the starting point, but Continue the Conversation kept it going. Thank you for coming. It was a great evening".
